Strategic licensing partnership with EURES GmbH
Premstaetten, Austria and Munich, Germany (June 05, 2025) – ams OSRAM, is taking a pivotal step in further expanding its brand presence through a strategic licensing partnership with EURES GmbH. This collaboration marks a notable milestone in ams OSRAM’s brand licensing strategy, enabling the launch of OSRAM-branded consumer battery solutions across European markets starting mid-2025.
As part of its long-term vision to unlock new revenue streams and strengthen brand equity, ams OSRAM established “IP Offerings” in 2025 — an autonomous operating unit dedicated to managing and strategically expanding the company’s brand licensing activities. The initiative is designed to increase the visibility of the OSRAM brand which represents innovation, quality and reliability, through new product categories and markets.
The brand licensing partnership with EURES GmbH, a leading distributor and logistics expert, is an important step underlining this new strategy. EURES will serve as the exclusive licensee for OSRAM-branded consumer battery solutions, including standard and rechargeable batteries, button cells, and portable power banks in Europe.

EURES GmbH, based in Filderstadt, Germany, provides deep market expertise and a strong distribution network, making it the ideal partner to bring OSRAM-branded consumer battery solutions to end-customers across Europe. With this agreement, EURES will offer the most comprehensive range of OSRAM-branded consumer battery solutions available in the region. Customers can expect to see OSRAM-branded consumer battery solutions in stores beginning mid-2025, further broadening the brand’s presence and trust in the consumer electronics space.
